Little Sand Lake is a private lake found in Doctor Phillips (Orange County), Florida, down the road from Universal Studios! This lake destination is one of the most well-situated locations in Orange County, with everything one could need only a stone’s throw away.

The nearest major airport is Orlando International Airport, only a brief 15-mile drive. Urgent care can be easily accessed at Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, just ten minutes away.

Grocery and snack needs can be satisfied at Whole Foods Market, less than five minutes from Little Sand Lake. Locals insist that newcomers taste a few reputable restaurants, such as Santiago’s Bodega, Mrs. Potato Restaurant, and Vito’s ChopHouse.

This 151-acre lake makes for a much-needed respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The lake offers several locations for shore fishing and is well-suited for large and small craft alike.

Little Sand Lake does not contain a boat ramp, as it is a private lake for residential use only. Anglers looking to throw out a line can expect to catch Bluegill, Largemouth Bass, Bowfin, and Florida Gar.
